NOTE: This is targeted for Grades K-5 elementary teachers
Crosscutting Concepts: Supporting Elementary School Students' Thinking and Reasoning
Are you looking for strategies to support rich sense-making discussions in your classroom? Do you regularly wonder how to better teach the Crosscutting Concepts CCC to your elementary students?
This course will provide you with a deeper understanding of how to use of CCC within your science lessons. Participants will receive a free copy of the National Science Teachers Association book: Crosscutting Concepts Strengthening Science and Engineering Learning and a $100 stipend for participation in the course, facilitating a sense-making conversation with your students, and reflecting with colleagues.
Zoom Sessions: April 19th, 26th, and May 3rd from 4-6 pm.

This course is NOT designed to be joined by phone. Please plan to join on a computer with a camera, speakers, and microphone.
