Please join us for our May Lunch and Learn! This will be done virtually.

Our 2023 Washington Teacher of the Year, Dana Miles, will lead our lunch and learn session. During this event, Dana wants to keep this light and conversational by sharing a day in her life as a Deaf person and a Deaf Teacher to give you an idea of what it is like to be in her shoes for a day. Dana wants to create a space where everybody would feel comfortable asking her ANY questions about herself as a Deaf person or teacher at a Deaf school. At the end of the lunch, Dana hopes that you will leave the lunch session with tummies full, hearts full of joy, and minds with enlightenment, knowing that you can make a difference in other people's lives by embracing them regardless of their disabilities.
