| Are you ready to explore the use of ChatGPT to create a lesson plan that is aligned with your selected grade level/subject area AND uses ChatGPT as a supportive tool for your class to complete the activities? 


This entirely online, asynchronous, and self-paced professional learning course guides participants through the process of designing and creating a lesson for their chosen grade level/subject area that incorporates ChatGPT as a tool used within the lesson’s activities.


If participants do not have a basic understanding of the functionality of ChatGPT and prompting, they are encouraged to enroll in the course titled “ChatGPT: The Basics of ChatGPT and Prompting (online, asynchronous)” through pdEnroller. Participants should also have familiarity with writing a lesson plan before enrolling in this course.


IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants will be provided with COPPA and OpenAI policies/age requirements and will be expected to follow those requirements in addition to all laws, regulations, and their district/school policies for their use of ChatGPT as a teacher as well as directing students in the use of ChatGPT.

    • This course will be delivered through a Canvas classroom; instructions and the link to the course will be provided by pdEnroller upon successful registration for this course through pdEnroller.

    • You may complete this course at your own pace by the course end date/time.

    • The course becomes unavailable beyond the identified course end date/time.

     Important to review before registering for this course: 

    • ⏱All activities must be completed by the identified course end date/time. If you would like to complete the course for clock hours, you must successfully complete all activities as instructed and follow the clock hour process as identified within the course, including attestation to the instructor that you have completed the course which prompts the initiation of the clock hour verification process.

    • ESD 105's policy is clock hour attendance verification can take up to 10 days from the end of an event. For this asynchronous/at-your-own-pace course, clock hours will be validated approximately every 3 weeks during the course and within 10 days after the course ends.
