Description

| Would you like to learn how ChatGPT can be used as a tool to support your teaching role?

This course will provide opportunities for you to explore and learn how ChatGPT can support your role as a teacher!

Participants will be introduced to strategies for using ChatGPT that can address numerous needs and boost efficiency and creativity in their teaching routines, including the writing of lesson plans. Participants will be encouraged to continue the practical application of ChatGPT beyond this course and consider how ChatGPT can be used in STEM-related classes.

If participants do not have a basic understanding of the functionality of ChatGPT and prompting, they are encouraged to enroll in the course titled “ChatGPT: The Basics of ChatGPT and Prompting (online, asynchronous)” through pdEnroller. Participants should also have familiarity with writing a lesson plan before enrolling in this course.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants will be provided with COPPA and OpenAI policies/age requirements and will be expected to follow those requirements in addition to all laws, regulations, and their district/school policies for their use of ChatGPT as a teacher as well as directing students in the use of ChatGPT.

Participants who complete this course might find value in continuing to learn about ChatGPT through additional AI courses offered by ESD 105 and other ESD regions throughout Washington.
