Description

Join our educators to tour and learn about the Illahee Elementary School Outdoor Learning Gardens!

We will cover a variety of ways that this school uses their entire campus for outdoor learning across curriculum areas. The tour and discussion will include a native plant garden, outdoor learning garden, outdoor classrooms, and tree plantings. The project is a collaboration with educators, parent volunteers, and community partners.

This 2-hour workshop will meet in-person on a school campus and will be outdoors for the entire session, so please dress for the weather. Registration is FREE and participants will earn 2 STEM clock hours

This workshop is part of a year-long series called Taking Learning Outside. To explore other courses in the series, please visit: https://bit.ly/TakingLearningOutside
