Description
Even though students are identified as Highly Capable, it does not mean that they are the same. We all have different styles of learning, different passions, varied creative expression, and various strengths! As differentiation is explored, teachers will have the opportunity to experience differentiation in a virtual format. Participants will choose what articles they will read, what activities they will complete, and all of their experiences will also apply to how they can differentiate in the classroom (in-person or virtual).
There is an optional ZOOM kick-off that will help introduce the format of the course and provide an opportunity to meet and talk with colleagues. Much of the course will be asynchronous through Google Classroom. After completing the Google Classroom content there will be two options for a 2-hour culminating ZOOM workshop.
Optional Zoom Kick-Off: November 12 | 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM (No clock hours offered)
