This is a mini workshop about math intervention focusing on grades K-2. The research tells us that if we did more intervention in the primary grades then we would not be scrambling around in the upper elementary grades. In this mini workshop we are going to take a deep dive into the 8 recommendations from IES Department of Education.

We will talk about universal screening, teaching whole numbers and then rational numbers, explicit and systematic instruction, word problems, using visual aids, teaching basic facts, progress monitoring and motivational strategies. We will explore how all these components work together to create an engaging, educational and proven approach to intervention.

Cost is $45.  The clock hour fee upon completion of the course is $9. 

Once you complete the course and receive the certificate of completion from Grassroots, you will claim the clock hours in pdEnroller.
