Description
We'll begin by examining how it is a math teacher's job to teach language skills. Then we'll move on to learning about some things you'll wish you had known about teaching English learners. From there we will move on to specific strategies that will allow you to help students understand what they read and hear in your math classroom. We'll then move on to strategies to help students share their thinking, in writing and speaking. Finally, we'll end by putting all the strategies together in your classroom, whether it be online or face-to-face.

The clock hour fee upon completion of the course is $6 paid to ESD112.
Once you complete the course and receive the certificate of completion from Grassroots, you will claim the clock hours in pdEnroller. The claim code for this course is VFJ-THS. You will upload your certificate of completion, complete the short survey, and pay for the clock hours. Once all the steps have been completed, the clock hours will record on a pdEnroller transcript.
