Captioning your videos and presentations is a crucial part of complying with ADA accessibility guidelines and ensuring that your materials are accessible to the widest audience possible. 

This training will cover the basics of captioning, including: how to turn on automatic captioning in Zoom, Google Slides, and PowerPoint Online, getting transcripts from your recordings, and how to generate and edit captions in YouTube.

This course can be taken as part of the 70 clock hours required for the General Paraeducator Certificate. It also meets the Advanced Paraeducator Certificate requirements. For more information please refer to the PESB Website. 

The total cost for this course, including registration fee and clock hour fee, will be $8.00*. You won't be asked to pay the clock hour fee until after the course has finished and attendance has been marked. You must cancel your registration prior to the training time in order to receive a refund for your registration fee.
