Sold a Story is a podcast that investigates the history of reading instruction in the United States, focusing on why many children have struggled to learn to read due to what the investigator uncovers and believes to be a flawed, widely adopted approach. This pod-study will investigate episodes 5-9 of the series to build understanding on how these reading instructional methods became prevalent and how they have impacted literacy instruction. Each episode will include a theme and discussion thread question.
