Description

ESD 113 Regional Science Coordinator will continue their partnership with Washington Green Schools and offer teachers access to high quality instructional materials that focus on climate science and are aligned with the NGSS. Many teachers are unaware of research-based instructional practices or instructional models that they can use to create instructional materials and a learning environment where students have an opportunity to use the core ideas, crosscutting concepts, and practices of science to make sense of climate-related natural phenomena. This series of trainings and workshops will provide access to these materials and an understanding of these practices. As a result, teachers will be able to provide a rigorous and equitable climate science education for their students.
