During these meetings, we will discuss and make sense of:
- Achieve the Core's document: 2020-21 Priority Instructional Content in English Language Arts/Literacy and Mathematics
- Achievement Network's supporting document: Important Prerequisite Math Standards
- The Council of the Great City Schools 6 principles and strategies for addressing unfinished learning portion (pages 3-8) of their document: Addressing Unfinished Learning After COVID-19 School Closures
Agenda:
- Discuss the front matter of each document and the 6 principles - what implications, how do we work from an asset-based perspective as we address unfinished learning?
- Meet in grade level-specific groups to identify and understand the recommendations.
- Meet in curriculum material alike groups to develop initial scope and sequence recommendations.
- Make plans for further collaboration.
