Session One: Are you ready to deepen your own learning about growth mindset, discover how learning mindsets can affect student performance, and explore strategies that support student confidence? Come join us as we begin our journey into Carol Dweck and Jo Boaler’s research on “fixed mindset” versus “growth mindset,” clarify some common misconceptions about growth mindset, learn some strategies for addressing mindsets in students and adults, and explore the effect of feedback on mindset.

Session Two: Further develop the strategies learned in Growth Mindset 101. Spend some time reflecting on the growth of your own mindset and the students and staff with which you work. Create activities to further develop your impact in enacting growth mindset in your school and district. Collaborate with other districts on a problem of practice—what worked and what are next steps in your mindset journey?
