This training will review the stages of social and communication development and the strategies you can use to enhance communication with students who have language delays.  This workshop begins with the idea that behavior is a form a communication and will look at the whole student in the school setting and beyond.  This workshop is not a training on PECs or AACs, but may be discussed in the context of using tools for communication.

This event is limited to Olympia SD staff members and is targeted to preschool and elementary school paraeducators
