Neuroscience Foundations (formerly the Basic Institute) is designed for educators ready to ground their practice in the core principles of brain science. Whether you're new to Neural Education or ready to reconnect with the foundations, this institute offers a powerful starting point for transforming your practice through neuroscience.

During this immersive course, administrators and educators will explore:

  • How to improve educational outcomes for all students by tapping into the brain’s natural ability to learn and grow

  • Practical strategies to create conditions for attention, regulation, and engagement

  • The science behind metacognition, self-regulated learning, and student empowerment

  • Tools for managing classrooms through connection

  • The critical role of social and emotional development in cognitive growth

Past participants have shared:

  • I learned many significant ideas from this program, including how the brain is wired and its relationship to learning.

  • I learned so much at this training, and it sparked new ideas that I need to incorporate into my classroom. The leader of this training was very wise and informed.

  • Teaching with the Brain in mind. I learned a lot about the brain and about anxiety. It was fascinating.

  • Amazing hands on real life classroom-tested tools to apply right away.

  • Everyone should take this course!

  • Great Class!!!!! Loved every minute of it!!!!!!!

  • Loved this! It changed my way of thinking.
