Shifting Schools: Reimagine - For Out-of-State Educators

Throughout this fall, the ReImagine Ed 2.0, 3.0, and Mastermind Collective for Administrators will be offered to focus on preparing students and systems for their future, not the past. 

 The September ReImagine WA Ed series has opportunities individual educators and administrators who missed out on “Shifting Schools” this spring and August (ReImagine 2.0), AND for anyone interested in taking the next step to reimagine education for students across Washington State. What Is ReImagine?

We’re shaping the path ahead! Wherever you are on your distance learning journey, we are here to support you. Washington’s 9 ESDs are proud to partner again with Jeff Utecht (founder of Shifting Schools). Beginning in September and through the fall, we’re offering educators the ReImagine WA Ed 2.0 and 3.0 series to focus on preparing students for their future, not the past.

The September ReImagine WA Ed series has opportunities for those who missed out on “Shifting Schools” this spring and August (ReImagine 2.0), AND for anyone interested in taking the next step to reimagine education for students across Washington State (ReImagine 3.0). 

Who should attend ReImagine 2.0 - For Out-of-State Educators?

ReImagine 2.0 is the second step to mastering THE BLENDED CLASSROOM. Participants must have attended the 1.0 training before registering for 2.0. With built-in accountability and support, your classroom will become a model of a ReImagined classroom. Lead the way!

Session Details & Dates: Eight (8) one-hour sessions once a week held between 4 – 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When registering, participants select a grade band and indicate whether they will engage in a Tuesday OR a Thursday cohort. Following registration, participants will be assigned a time and grouped into cohorts of 80. 

Tuesday dates: 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, and 11/10

Thursday dates: 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12

Who should attend ReImagine 3.0 - For Out-of-State Educators?

ReImagine 3.0 is the third step to mastering THE BLENDED CLASSROOM. Participants must have attended the 1.0 and 2.0 training before registering for 3.0. With built-in accountability and support, your classroom will become a model of a ReImagined classroom. Lead the way!

Session Details: Four (4) 90-minute sessions held every other Monday from 4-5:30pm that build on the knowledge and skills from ReImagine 1.0 and 2.0. Dates: 9/21, 10/5, 10/19, 11/2

Who should attend ReImagine: Mastermind Collective for Administrators - For Out-of-State Educators?

Led by ReImagine and Shifting Schools founder Jeff Utecht, the ReImagine Mastermind Collective has been created as a place and time for Administrators tasked with making Distance Learning work for their schools, teachers, students and families, to come together and collectively share ideas, challenges and successes. 

Participants will be encouraged to bring data, ask questions, share, and give others feedback during every session. Session Details: Four (4) one-hour sessions held every other Tuesday from 1-2pm. Dates: 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/3.

What do you need?

1. A quiet space to attend  Zoom sessions. 
2. A device that can access the internet and is capable of getting you into Zoom. (The ability to turn on your video or audio is handy but not necessary.)
3. A willingness to fail fast, fail proud! (AKA a growth mindset)

Cost:

$250 per person for all sessions.

Details & Registration:

Due to the high number of registrations received for this workshop, we are unable to assist in bulk registrations. You are welcome to have your educators register themselves or assign a registrar to register your participants in pdEnroller. We highly recommend verifying the email addresses provided prior to registration, as all communication for cohort access (including finalized session date, times and links) will be sent through the email provided at registration.
