Mathematics Instructional Materials Adoption Leadership
By OSPI & ESD 123
Collaborate with colleagues to explore resources and learning around best practices in the process of adopting mathematics instructional materials.
Our goal is to create a cadre of mathematics leaders who can be recommended to districts embarking on instructional materials adoption (IMA). Ensuring IMA is grounded in best practices is critical to selecting well-aligned and high-quality mathematics instructional materials that support success for ALL students. District math leaders may wish to attend to support their own IMA.
Registration is required for this 2-day event - space limited and registration closed when full
There is no cost for attending the workshop. Travel and lunch each day will be the responsibility of the participant.
Clock hours will be provided
This event will be held at ESD 123 in Pasco, Washington
IMA leaders will be included on a list of recommended leaders who districts can reach out to when seeking support with their instructional materials adoption process.
IMA leaders from districts will have the knowledge and resources to support best practices in their instructional materials adoption process.
IMA leaders from smaller districts can connect and potentially collaborate with one another in their instructional materials adoption which could result in a cost savings for districts.
