Mathematics Instructional Materials Adoption Leadership

By OSPI & ESD 123

Collaborate with colleagues to explore resources and learning around best practices in the process of adopting mathematics instructional materials.

Our goal is to create a cadre of mathematics leaders who can be recommended to districts embarking on instructional materials adoption (IMA). Ensuring IMA is grounded in best practices is critical to selecting well-aligned and high-quality mathematics instructional materials that support success for ALL students. District math leaders may wish to attend to support their own IMA.

  • Registration is required for this 2-day event - space limited and registration closed when full

  • There is no cost for attending the workshop. Travel and lunch each day will be the responsibility of the participant.

  • Clock hours will be provided

  • This event will be held at ESD 123 in Pasco, Washington

  • IMA leaders will be included on a list of recommended leaders who districts can reach out to when seeking support with their instructional materials adoption process.

  • IMA leaders from districts will have the knowledge and resources to support best practices in their instructional materials adoption process.

  • IMA leaders from smaller districts can connect and potentially collaborate with one another in their instructional materials adoption which could result in a cost savings for districts.
