This professional learning community is designed to support our region’s educators and school and district administrators in the 2021–22 implementation of E2SSB 6162. This WA State legislation requires screening for signs of literacy weaknesses associated with dyslexia. It is an opportunity for our state’s educators to assess their PreK-2 students’ literacy skills and to design systems of support to provide explicit, evidence-based reading instruction to improve students’ literacy learning.
