Description

In today’s digital landscape, both digital citizenship and cybersecurity are essential for protecting our students. Understanding online safety, responsible behavior, and the tactics used by cybercriminals—such as phishing and social engineering—helps students navigate the digital world securely, safeguard their personal information, and recognize potential threats. This session will explore free, ready-to-use lessons designed to equip students with the skills they need for secure and ethical online decision-making. Educators will also learn how to introduce critical cybersecurity practices, including identifying phishing attempts, recognizing manipulative social engineering tactics, and understanding the benefits of multi-factor authentication (MFA) in securing personal and academic accounts. Join us to discover engaging strategies and resources that will prepare students to think critically about their online interactions and develop habits that strengthen their digital resilience.
