The Early Learning Summit brings together early childhood educators, service providers, community partners, and early elementary educators (K–3) to learn from one another and strengthen how we support young children and their families. This year’s summit offers a variety of sessions led by experienced professionals who understand the real work you do every day. Topics will include child development from birth through early elementary (K–3), early intervention (birth–3), early childhood special education (ages 3–5), and transitions into kindergarten and the early elementary years. There will also be sessions focused on supporting children who are deaf or hard of hearing, have vision needs, autism, and other developmental differences. Participants will learn practical strategies for working in a range of settings, including child care, preschool programs (such as ECEAP and Early Head Start), inclusive classrooms, early elementary (K–3) settings, and services provided in natural environments with infants, toddlers, and families. Sessions will also cover how to navigate systems, connect families to services, and ensure supports are meeting children’s needs. The summit will kick off Thursday evening with an opportunity to connect with others in the field, build relationships, and share ideas across programs and communities. Throughout the summit, there will be a strong focus on social-emotional development and family-centered practices, with ideas you can take back and use right away in your work.
