Are you a content creator? If you are responsible for creating publications, presentations, and other materials for your school or organization, this training is for you! This full-day, in-person presentation will walk participants through the principles of and motivations for document accessibility, along with WCAG 2 and legal requirements schools and public agencies. Through hands-on practice, participants will learn more about and practice:
- Accessibility evaluation tools
- Structure and reading order
- PowerPoint slide layouts and reading order
- Alternative text, complex images, tables, and links
- Low vision, contrast, color blindness, and color use
- Auditory disabilities and multimedia
- Cognitive and learning disabilities and accessibility techniques
- Importance of choosing the right content creation tool
- Converting to PDF and validation workflow
- PDF evaluation and repair in Acrobat
