All required state trainings on the AWSP Leadership Framework for principal evaluation will be conducted through the Educational Service Districts. 

The AWSP Leadership Framework training provides a tool for districts as they continue to design and develop their new principal evaluation modules.

Topics covered in this training are: 

• Overview of the AWSP Framework
• Requirements of the Principal Evaluation System
• Deep Dive into the 8 Criteria and Rubrics, and 
• Tools available to support a school leader and their professional growth
• Goal setting, feedback and reflection strategies that maximize continuous professional growth for principals and assistant principals in this required training.

For the 2021-2022 School Year, Instructional Framework trainings will be a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning.

This 12 hours of training fulfills the Washington state requirement for training on the AWSP Leadership Framework for evaluators of Principals and Assistant Principals.

This training is for anyone new to supervising a principal and/or assistant principal.

Event Notes

Participants will complete 3 hours of asynchronous learning after each zoom session.  Instructions on the asynchronous learning will be provided during the 8:00-11:15 session(s).
