Paraeducator Fundamental Course of Study: FCS04 Using & Collecting Data
This 1 hour professional learning opportunity will prepare paraeducators within their district to understand and use data collection effectively for assessment and instruction. This course covers 1 of the required 28 units of study hours that align with the FCS learning objectives.
Audience: K-12 instructional paraeducator
Program Objectives:
Review the purpose of data collection and examine various methods to assist in both collecting instructional and behavioral data
Identify ways to use assessment data when assisting in instructional applications
Identify methods to assist in recording and maintaining data
Review various assessment tools according to job assignment (e.g., DIBELS, Smarter Balance)
