Join us for an engaging, inquiry-based book study that brings data to life through curiosity, collaboration, and equity. Together we’ll explore how to spark student questioning, uncover patterns, and make meaning from data using tools like CODAP, DataWISE, and Tuva. We will explore a variety of resources and strategies suited for all content areas to engage students in data including Notice & Wonder, Slow Reveal, Question Formulation Technique, and Data Nuggets. Participants will analyze graphs, explore correlation vs. causation, and design meaningful data visualizations. Collaborative activities will be used to deepen understanding and classroom application.
