The ESD Improvement Science Basics Course is designed to provide an introduction to Improvement Science for the purpose of building the rationale and potential for using this methodology to improve outcomes for students and the systems that serve them. This one-day session provides participants the opportunity to explore the phases of improvement work through a simulation to understand at a basic level what it feels like to apply improvement science techniques to solving problems and improve an outcome.
