Learn strategies for understanding and intervening with severe challenging behaviors in school settings. Coordination of interventions for complicated challenging behavior will be addressed. Specifically this workshop will tackle more significant behavioral challenges for students who are non-responsive to Tier 1 efforts through an integrated Tier 2 system.

This multi-day training is intended for schools already implementing Tier 1 Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The training is designed for schools that are ready to begin or ready to increase support for Tier 2 implementation efforts. In particular individuals or school-based teams who currently work with more complex challenging behaviors are encouraged to attend.

Learn strategies for understanding and intervening with severe challenging behaviors in school settings. Coordination of interventions for complicated challenging behavior will be addressed. Specifically, this workshop will tackle more significant behavioral challenges for students who are non-responsive to Tier 1 efforts through an integrated Tier 2 system. Additionally, in these uncertain times, greater numbers of students with more complex social/emotional/behavioral needs may require support than in previous years. These sessions also will address and problem solve the unique challenges created by the circumstances of the present moment.
