Description

Interested in implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in environmental education? Want to empower students racing on reducing their carbon footprint in a fun and educational way? The League for Green Leaders supports teachers with tested pedagogy and a ready-to-use, game-based solution to make learning fun and engaging, regardless of teaching virtually or in person. In this training, teachers have the opportunity to build virtual eco-systems, finish fun activities, track their carbon footprint, and compete with other trainees for more badges and points. Teachers will walk away with lesson plans that can be easily implemented with all the details. They will gain more knowledge about the SDGs that can be adopted through experiential learning, and understand better on how the game-based pedagogy can help them deliver the Integrated Environmental and Sustainability k-12 Learning Standards with measurable learning outcome.
