This AWSP Leadership Framework Training meets the state requirement for anyone who is new to supervising a principal or assistant principal.  This 12-hour training will take place over two days.  Each day will be a mix of synchronous learning (Zoom) and asynchronous learning on the AWSP Learning Lab.  This training will have school leader supervisors diving deep into the eight Criteria of the AWSP Leadership Framework.  Participants will understand the AWSP Leadership Framework has been designed as a resource for the ongoing GROWTH and evaluation of a school leader.  More specifically, the framework has been carefully crafted to be used by supervisors and school leaders together as they develop a robust observation and evaluation system focused on the growth of the school leader.  Training will focus on the areas of equity, inclusion and belonging that are woven throughout the framework. Participants will have 1 week after day #2 to complete the asynchronous work.

Completion of this 12-hour course is a state requirement for anyone who supervises/evaluates a school principal or assistant principal.

Day #1: 8:00-11:00 zoom

Day #2: 8:00-11:00 zoom

Each day will also include 3 hours of asynchronous work on the AWSP Learning Lab. The link to this work will be provided on Day #1 during the zoom session.

All course materials must be completed by Thursday, October 31, 2024.
