Description
Calling all educators who are using OpenSciEd and anyone who might be curious to learn more about OpenSciEd's Elementary and Secondary OER Science Materials!
Washington State LASER, the Northeast LASER Alliance, the Olympic LASER Alliance, and the Northwest LASER Alliance are pleased to announce that we are hosting two OpenSciEd Community Days!
These community daya are an opportunity for experienced practitioners of OpenSciEd, people new to OpenSciEd, and those curious about OpenSciEd to come together to share and learn in a mini-conference type setting. Sessions will focus on implementation, unit overviews, routines, localizing phenomena, and more. There will be a secondary strand and an elementary strand to accomodate all educators K-12.
This event, tailored to the East side, will be at the Talbott Event Center at NEWESD 101 on Saturday, May 17th, from 9-2. Lunch and up to 4 STEM clock hours are included (RSVP required, but registration is free, courtesy of Washington State LASER).
