Description
This interactive, in-person 2-hour workshop equips all school staff with practical tools to stay engaged, resilient, and connected while navigating daily challenges. Through group activities and guided reflection, participants will explore strategies to restore focus, foster balance, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative school culture where wellness is a shared responsibility.
Following this training, an additional leadership-focused workshop will be offered to help school and district leaders apply these concepts and develop sustainable strategies for building resilient school communities.
Event Notes
The training series will cover topics such as:
- Importance of educator well-being and enhancing systems through trauma-informed concepts;
- Understanding the signs and causes of secondary traumatic stress and burnout, exploring strategies for addressing burnout;
- Practical strategies to manage stress and foster resilience;
- Explore the science behind social, emotional, and behavioral relationships to academic outcomes;
- Empower administrators to assess and identify staff burnout, and how to provide plans to foster resilience;
- Build and sustain healthy systems that support well-being at the individual, organizational, and environmental levels.
