Special Education is the provision of specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of an eligible student in order for that student to make progress toward the standards. Special Education Directors meet monthly to collaborate and share best practices in the field of Special Education. This team of leaders review new legislation as it relates to students with special needs and how to implement these changes within the district as well as share educational practices to improve student learning.
