Districts need ongoing professional development for principals to help them refine their skills in observing, analyzing and rating instruction. To calibrate in district on an ongoing basis is important but calibrating with the UW-CEL Framework authors is also an important process in rater agreement. The NWESD and the Center for Educational Leadership are partnering to offer this one-day training institute for evaluators using the 5D+ Teacher Evaluation Rubric.
