Description

How is our changing climate impacting agriculture in Washington?  Can we protect our food systems from pollution?  How do we build a more resilient community in the face of environmental changes?  Join WA Green Schools and the NWESD to explore current research and make connections to local climate-related phenomena.  During the second half of the day, teachers will plan activities that will bring climate science learning into their classrooms.

Receive 6 free STEM Clock Hours.

ClimeTime is a statewide initiative of the Washington Governor, the Washington State Legislature, OSPI, and the Association of Educational Service Districts (AESD). Participation is paid for by the Washington State Legislature’s 2018 Climate Science Proviso. Districts will be reimbursed by Northwest Educational Service District for substitute release time.
