Welcome to Autism Spectrum Disorder, an interactive computer-based instruction course designed to help you achieve a better understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder, of intervention strategies to enhance communication and learning, and of methods for teaching more conventional behaviors.  Autism Spectrum Disorder provides information on the characteristics of the disorder, learning styles associated with the disorder, communication weaknesses, and various intervention strategies that have proven to be successful when working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  The course helps you comprehend why individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder act the way they do, and what you can do to enhance more appropriate behavior.  This course also lists resources for educators, related service personnel, and parents who would like more help or information on Autism Spectrum Disorder.

To register for VESi classes with clock hours through NWESD please follow the directions below.

Step 1:  Select the "Register Now!" button to begin the process of paying the clock hour fee.
 Step 2: Visit the VESi website to pay the $150 courseware fee or call VESi at 1-800-313-6744 between 8:00AM-5:00PM PST, Monday through Friday.
Step 3: Turn all course materials into VESi upon completion. Please note: There is a two week minimum for course completion.
 Step 4: Your clock hours will be accessible through your account on this site after we receive completion confirmation from VESi. You will receive an e-mail from pdEnroller once it is recorded.
