Description

Overview

This series of workshops will work toward establishing a professional learning community to continue sharing resources, experiences, and strategies for aligning high school computer science courses with college-level standards and expectations.

Each workshop has outcomes that aim to equip high school teachers with the knowledge, skills, and collaborative networks necessary to ensure that their computer science courses effectively prepare students for success in college-level studies and allow students to earn dual credit opportunities that align to degree pathways in the region.

This workshop is part three of a three-part series.  This workshop will focus on collaboration and understanding between high school and college educators, equipping them with strategies to enhance student success during this transition. Participants will discuss current trends, align curricula, and promote cross-institutional communication to create a smoother pathway for students pursuing computer science.
