Description:  In this course, participants will first be presented with the basics of a Learning Management System (LMS) then select a specific LMS (Canvas, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Schoology, Seesaw) to explore in-depth through guided practice within their own practice classroom.

How Presented: This course will be presented asynchronously through a Canvas classroom and participants may complete this course at their own pace during the identified course dates.

Requirements: Within each LMS module, activities are presented that participants must complete in their own practice classroom. To complete this course successfully, participants must have access to the LMS they select. Participants will need to work directly with their school district to have access to their selected LMS. Some LMSs have a free or paid for option available for individual access (see below). Check with your school or district before creating an account with an LMS provider because they may already have an account available for you.

Information about FREE versions: FREE versions are available for Seesaw, Canvas, and Google Classroom. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Free versions may not have all of the functions explored in this course, but participants can still complete this course on the free LMS versions available.

Clock Hour Details: Please review these important details about clock hour availability for this course:

• Once registered, participants will have available to them within a Canvas classroom a module titled "Welcome and Logistics" then proceed to through "Module 1: "What is a Learning Management System (LMS)?".
• After successful completion of Module 1, participants will then select 1 of 5 LMSs to continue with (Canvas, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Schoology, Seesaw). Each LMS is presented as its own module. Successful completion of the "What is a Learning Management System (LMS)?" and 1 of the 5 selected LMSs along with the clock hour attestation process will result in 6 clock hours. 
• After completion of their selected first LMS module, participants may continue through the remaining LMS modules for an available 5 clock hours per LMS. The maximum number of clock hours a participant may attain through this offering is 26.
• Participants must submit the clock hour attestation form only ONCE for this course and only after they have completed all desired LMS modules within this course. No additional submissions will be evaluated after the clock hour attestation form is submitted for this course.
