This fully asynchronous short course examines the gender imbalance of Wikipedia and collaborative efforts to build more entries that recognize women's contributions, particularly in science. It provides resources for promoting educational activities, awareness, and understanding of the gender imbalance of Wikipedia with particular focus on efforts attached to Women's History Month (the month of March). Participants will choose resources to explore and reflect on how they might be utilized in educational settings. Completion of this course offers an opportunity to purchase 5 clock hours in STEM or Equity. 

Deadline: Participants must complete this session in Canvas by September 15, 2025. Course attendance is taken on an on-going basis after participants finish, often within 3-5 days, though during rush periods and holiday breaks please be aware it may take up to 2 weeks.
