Two New STEM Teaching Tools

Tue, February 4 2020 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Presenters

Description

Can your students identify problems, decide if those problems could be solved with engineering, define criteria for success and constraints, and make robust claims from evidence throughout the engineering design process?  YES!  This workshop will provide hands-on examples and two new STEM Teaching Tools that will support you as you make this all happen in your K-12 classroom.  You will also learn to support your students in understanding the difference between engineering and tinkering, making connections between engineering and science, and the importance of social/emotional learning in engineering.
