This introductory course will establish important foundations in hopes we can move forward in deeper conversation and learning together. We will talk about brain research, how to create a safe learning environment, cultural acuity, and what it takes to be an effective teacher. What we talk about and the tools we will practice are the foundations for trauma informed practice and begin the journey into being an extraordinary educator.
