In these monthly sessions, teachers and teacher leaders in the Olympic ESD region will join together to do mathematics, examine instructional practices and discuss opportunities to develop equitable structures in schools. We will be using the book, Catalyzing Change to "broaden the purpose of school mathematics to prioritize development of deep conceptual understanding so that students experience joy and confidence in themselves as emerging mathematicians."
