Description
** LTSC designation: OSPI worked closely with the nine ESDs to develop content-specific online learning for educators during Long-Term School Closure (LTSC). This online course is a result of that collaboration.

Learn, Plan, Lead
Make plans to embed literacy in phenomena-based science teaching practices to better support student sense making and to share with others in your school district. This session would work well for teams but can support individual learning as well.

Nine STEM Clock Hours available for purchase at $3.00 per clock hour (Clock hour application under review)
- Six hours of contact time using the Zoom meeting interface
- Three hours of asynchronous work leading to a final project
The Zoom online meeting link will be sent by May 5
A stipend of $40 per hour will be provided to teachers within the Olympic ESD 114 and Puget Sound ESD 121 Regions. Stipends will be approved following the submission of your plan to integrate science & literacy in an upcoming unit.
The plan must be submitted following the course completion by June 2nd.
