Description

“Backed by decades of brain-based research and neuroscience, Ukeru is a simple, yet highly effective approach to crisis management that offers an alternative to coercive behavior techniques.”

“Ukeru is a crisis management technique rooted in the belief that the use of physical restraints and seclusions are unnecessary and unproductive.” Ukeru focuses on teaching teams about how both challenging and prosocial adaptive behaviors are learned, how trauma can impact this learning and our responses during in crisis situations, and how to safely and effectively reduce crisis behaviors.
