Description
This one-day summer learning workshop for regional elementary educators is designed to explore content integration with connections to the newly released Math and ELA state standards. The day will begin with a content driven integrated learning experience and then provide an overview of the commonalities between the updated Math and ELA standards. These sessions will be followed by a rotation of stations. The day will culminate with a time to synthesize learning and determine next steps.
Educators will be able to earn 6 total clock hours, including 2 STEM clock hours. We welcome all elementary educators. Participants will leave with ideas to begin next school year with confidence!
Cost is $30. Breakfast, Coffee/tea, Lunch, and Snacks provided.
Networking and breakfast time start at 8:00 AM. The agenda begins promptly at 8:30 AM.
If cost is a barrier, scholarships are available for teachers in the OESD114 region. Please reach out to Heather Archut if needed: harchut@oesd114.org
