Accessibility – MS PowerPoint and Google Slides
Event CancelledHello everyone, I am very sorry to say, but I will need to cancel this workshop. I am due to be presenting on accessibility on behalf of the district at a conference in Everett. While the timing had initially looked to work, it now looks like the turnaround time will be a bit too tight knowing I-5 traffic. Rather than scramble to reach you all on Monday afternoon when you may already be en route, I think it best to postpone until the next date for this workshop (12/16). OSD staff is invited to attend this one-hour course focused on creating accessible presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides. The course will cover the use of slide layouts, writing alternative text, formatting tables and exporting to PDF.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop, as well as any PowerPoint or Slides presentations they have questions about related to the topics above. Chromebooks will also be available. Registration is required and must be completed five days prior to the workshop.
