In this two-hour interactive training, paraeducators will learn how multiple communication methods contribute to collaborative teamwork, 

Communication Basics will prepare educators with the skills for:

1. Working with team members

Making  important decisions as it applies to school-based teams

2. The four stages of developing effective teams 

3. Using questioning strategies which improve performance, productivity, and clarify misunderstandings 

4. Using strategies to initiate and receive feedback regarding student learning and/or personal performance

5. Applying conflict resolution strategies
