Description: Leave with concrete ideas and examples for how to center your student’s science learning on engaging and meaningful local phenomena that support understanding of Climate Science.
- Understand how local phenomena increase equity and support student engagement.
- Think about what local phenomena might look like in an at-home setting or schoolyard.
- Leave with ideas and activities that could support focusing your science curriculum on hyperlocal phenomena.

Please make sure that you are familiar with Zoom and how to use the features of Zoom before joining the course.
