Description

This in-person FLASH training will provide secondary educators with an introduction to the skills needed to effectively deliver the FLASH sexual health curriculum in classrooms. The training will focus on an overview of comprehensive sexual health education broadly and the FLASH curriculum specifically; the role of key concepts in delivering the program, specifically how to utilize key concepts to frame information; the Values Question Protocol as a strategy for answering values-laden questions posed by students in sexual health classrooms; and increasing comfort with other strategies to answer difficult questions. This training is appropriate for both new and seasoned sexual health educators.

Access to the FLASH curriculum is encouraged for this training, but not required.
