Description

Mentoring Teachers of Special Education focuses on mentoring teachers of special education in three of their roles: classroom teacher, case manager for students, and lead for adults in their building. This training will be virtual via zoom until further notice.

Event Notes

1. Prerequisite for this academy is prior attendance of Mentor Academy 101.

2. BEST’s on-line events are interactive trainings, not webinars. We ask participants to use video when possible so that others can see and interact with them. It is possible to call in and join without video, if necessary. In all cases, participants are asked to participate in all activities via audio.

3. Accommodations for Persons with Disabilities: To arrange accommodations for persons with disabilities, please contact BEST at 360-725-6430, TTY (360) 664-3631 or by email, BEST@k12.wa.us within 3 business days of this event. Please note that the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) does not require OSPI to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden.
