Attending the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Grant Writing Workshop is a great opportunity to learn about the Nita M. Lowey 21^st CCLC Program. The Nita M. Lowey 21^st CCLC Program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. OSPI oversees the administration of the federal grant, Title IV Part B, which funds 21st-century programs for our students. Please visit the 21st CCLC webpage for more information about the program.

Priority points will be given to:

• Programs proposing activities not currently accessible to students, or services that would expand access to high-quality services.
• Programs proposing to serve students who attend comprehensive or targeted support and improvement schools.
• Rural Education Agencies (LEAs) who are proposing to serve a school that is at least 40% or higher free and reduced lunch price rate. 
• Geographic diversity - Priority will be given to applicants in Adams, Asotin, Clallam, Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Island, Jefferson, Kitsap, Kittitas, Lincoln, Skamania, Stevens, Wahkiakum, Whatcom, and Whitman.
