IMPORTANT! This food service workshop is being held on August 5 only.


August 5 - Food Service: This full day training is designed for individuals in a food service director or menu planner role. We will focus on the basics of operating a successful school meal program, including meal pattern, menu planning, using your USDA Foods, and implementing an accurate point-of-service meal counting system. This is a hands-on, interactive session that provides opportunities to network and share best practices. 


Training is free to attend; however, participants must pay for meals, parking, and overnight stays. 


Please limit attendance to two people per organization to ensure all who are interested in attending may have the opportunity to join the training.

Parking: Parking is $6 per day and can be paid in advance or day-of in 3 ways:

1) visit the parking services and create an account to purchase online. 

2) scan the QR code on signage located in parking lots. 
3) Purchase at the kiosk located in lot I-15, outside the east entrance of the SURC.
